Levels of membership

Any individual, organization or website can be a member of the Intercollegiate Online News Network. By joining, you are agreeing to support the mission and goals of the organization, which are found on the About page of this site.

If you represent a website, you also agree to share your originally produced content with other member websites. Likewise, you are eligible to use the originally produced content of any member site on your site without asking for specific permission. You should give proper credit for anything that you use, and as a matter of courtesy, you should inform the originating site that you are re-publishing its content.

There is no cost to join at any level.

Levels of membership:

News-Advertising Network

The News-Advertising Network is made up of websites that use the ICONN content management system and that accept advertising from the ICONN advertising system. These sites are eligible to share in the revenue generated by the advertising system.

News Network

The News Network is made up of sites that use the ICONN content management system but do not accept advertising and thus do not share in the revenue generated by the ICONN advertising system.

Associated Network

The Associated Network is made up of sites that operate independently of the ICONN content management system.

Individual memberships

Individuals and organizations, independent of their websites, may join the Interscholastic Online News Network simply because they are interested in or support the goals of the organization.

All ICONN members are listed on the members page of this site unless they have requested otherwise.

Websites can begin the process of joining ICONN by emailing Jim Stovall at jgstovall at gmail.com. Individuals may join the ICONN Facebook group or may email Stovall for more information.
